ITINERRY IN DETAIL

 

DAY 01 : ARRIVAL LABUAN BAJO – RUTENG

Upon arrival at Komodo Airport we will have lunch at local restaurant then drive uphill to Ruteng high land. Stay overnight at Ruteng cool town

DAY 02 :  RUTENG – TODO – NARANG – DINTOR – DENGE

After having breakfast at the hotel  depart from Ruteng to discover the southern parts of Manggarai mainland. First stop will be made at Golo Cara Village the best place to see the unique spiderweb rice fields. Continue the trip to Todo traditional Village where you will get leisurely trek  accross the rice field and enjoy the splended landscape of Narang Village. In the afternoon drive along the south coast to Dintor and Denge with some stops along the road. Stay overnight at Denge Village

DAY 03:  DENGE – WAEREBO VILLAGE

After having got a simple breakfast, be prepared for a four hours trek to Wae Rebo Village, home to seven authentic Manggaraian houses called Mbaru Niang. The trekking trails predominantly covers the middle of mountain area, located 1000 m above sea level. Built in same conocal form, six of the houses serve as homes for the community, while one is dedicated for visiting guests. These houses have really high roof and each has five stories: the top four are mainly used for storage, whereas the living area is at the ground.
Stay overnight here and enjoy the great silense of the natural that lull you to sleep.

DAY 04:  WAEREBO –  DENGE –  DINTOR – LABUAN BAJO

After having light breakfast trek to Denge Village where lunch will be served. After lunch start to drive to Labuan Bajo via Dintor and Nangalili. Alternative  route is through Todo Village to Labuan Bajo. Stay overnight in Labuan Bajo.

DAY 05:  LABUAN BAJO – BIDADARI – RINCA – LABUAN BAJO

After having breakfast, transfer to the pier of Labuan Bajo to visit to Rinca Island. It will take two hours sailing to Rinca Island. Upon arrival start trekking through the island’s tropicaldry forest and savannah. Explore the home of the Komodo dragon you will find not only the dragon but also so many wild animals such as Timor Deers, wild buffalo, long tailed macaque and wild boars, as well as numerous birds. When lucky we may also see the young komodo hangging on the tree to avoid to be the prey for the old Komodo.
Sail to Bidadari island for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing on the white sandy beach. Return to Labuan Bajo in the afternoon.

DAY 06:  LABUAN BAJO – CHECK OUT

After having breakfast, transfer to the airport for the next destination
